Quilt Top
A well prepared quilt top will make a well finished quilt.
Press seams flat - to one side is better than pressing quilt top seams open.
Remove any thread tails.
Make sure your quilt top is square. If your quilt starts off a wobbly shape, it will still be a wobbly shape after I’ve quilted it. I live in a Vicarage but I can’t perform miracles!
Stay-stitching 1/8” from the edge of your top will ensure the seams hold firm and do not come adrift under tension on the frame.
Sending your quilt
Wrap your quilt securely and consider postal insurance. Email or phone me to let
me know that a quilt top is on its way.
Vicarage Quilts cannot be held responsible for quilts or quilt tops lost or damaged in transit, but I will look after them well whilst they are on the premises.
Alternatively, if you can hand deliver your quilt to the Vicarage, that's fine.
Please see our Price List or contact me to determine the cost of your quilting.
